Are YOU in On Alfond Challenge Grant ??? August 30, 2013 We are pleased to announce the $25,000 Alfond challenge grant in conjunction with our golf tournament. Effectively this is a chance to double any donations we receive between now and Dec 31st if they meet the following: Announcement approved by HAF: “We are pleased to announce that the Harold Alfond* Foundation has awarded the BRCA a $25,000 Challenge Grant in connection with our upcoming Harold Alfond Memorial BRCA Pro Am Golf Tournament for The Lakes. This biannual tournament took place on August 14th and raises funds for the BRCA Lake Trust, which supports all the lake associations in the watershed and administers the Milfoil, Youth Conservation Corps, and Watershed Programs. We are soliciting donations to help match the Alfond Challenge Grant. Corporate donations of $1000 or more and donations of any amount from individuals received between now and December 31, 2013 are eligible to be matched. If you were contemplating making a donation to help the lakes, NOW is the time. Your gift will be matched by the Harold Alfond Foundation and the lakes will receive a double benefit.
