Are You Ready to Vote on Nov. 5? Charleston County set to hold several local elections on Tuesday Polls will be open 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov, 5 for several local elections conducted by the Charleston County Board of Elections and Voter Registration (BEVR): •City of Charleston: City Council Districts 2, 4, 6, and 8, and Commissioner of Public Works •Town of Awendaw: Mayor and 3 Council Seats •City of Isle of Palms: Mayor, 4 Council Seats, and 2 Water and Sewer Commissioner Seats •Town of Lincolnville: Mayor •Town of Mount Pleasant: Mayor, 4 Council Seats, and 2 Waterworks Seats •Town of McClellanville: Mayor and 4 Council Seats •Town of Ravenel: 3 Council Seats •Town of Seabrook: Mayor, 4 Council Seats, and Utility Commissioner If a runoff is necessary, polls will be open from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 19, for the Municipal Election Runoff Day.
