Are physical improvements in the area needed? Its time to start thinking about what capitol improvements we want in the Payne Phalen area. This is a part of the city budget in odd numbered years (like 2015). We should get our proposals done in the next couple of weeks. We will also be reacting to the proposals from others in the next several months. In the past, projects have included park improvements (like Weida Park/Arlington Hills Community Center); road improvements (like Maryland, Payne Ave., etc.); Funds to support area businesses (like Kendalls, Ward 6, etc.).
