Are there any contenders for hosting EDC 2015? If there is nothing then I would be happy to stand in and host seven people at my house for a weekend, with hosted pick-up and drop-off at Birmingham airport. (i.e., two 80km round trips, which I can do). So my suggestion would be one player each from Italy, France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, England and one extra. Maybe Sweden, Ireland or I can be the extra, or another fair system, or from some other country. I dont mind being non-playing host. But I will try to qualify as the England player like everybody else from the UK. I will not decide who can or cannot come, so in that respect everyone (who qualifies to represent their country) is VERY welcome. I love Diplomacy itself and will welcome everyone. But the house limit is seven people (or 7 + me). So in that respect an EDC 2015 would be limited to seven people. You would just have to trust me to arrange a fair system to allocate who can come. No René van Rooijen, you dont get automatic selection ... you have to prove you are the most worthy Dutch player to attend and Bernard Andrioli might have something to say about that ;-) Ok you get the gist. 2014 Grand Prix (or WDC rankings) are two of my ideas at this stage to choose the country representative. And it must be July / August to ensure my garage is suitably warm for people to sleep as well as in the house. And I will probably add a tent to the garden. Yes, this is too exclusive, and not good for everybody. This is not my choice; I can only cope with one board of people at my house and will not extend the organisation to multiple boards. It is a choice and presentation for the next EDC.
