Are we ready for a chalk? Many netizens and broadcasters - TopicsExpress

Are we ready for a chalk? Many netizens and broadcasters congratulated the discipline we had but look at this. A total of 28,000 policemen plus 12,000 more from other services and volunteers for a total of 40,000 were used to control the crowd . Now try to take out half or more than half of this and see what will happen. Do we have to use that kind of big numbers to discipline ourselves? If the Filipinos are well disciplined,we wont need that big number of policemen and volunteers. Look at the interval of policemen!!! Its like the Great Wall of China or a Football game where the opponent will make a free kick and they have to make a wall defense posture to block the ball. These photos came from the BBC and described it as Philippine policemen helding back the crowd of worshippers who are starting to get rowdy. Some netizens protested in my post regarding Pope John Paul II visit in 1995,where there were spots where the crowd became unruly and there were videos shown. Because they refuse to open their eyes and accept reality. Now with this kind of security and crowd control,of course it served as a deterrent . Take them out and chaos will happen. We arent that mature yet as a nation. The government will not use this big number of crowd control and security, if there were no precedents, thats logic and common sense. This nation will not improve if we refused to open our eyes and accept. We arent ready for a chalk like South Korea.
