Are you afraid to offend muslims? Do muslims really need to take offence when points about Islam are raised? When the points that are being raised about Islam are points relevant to public safety and the well being of the society on the whole, I think offended muslims need to pipe down. The issues I raise about Islam, are ones which question equal rights for women and values regarding non believers. The things that are advocated to muslims regarding these things are unacceptable when considering 21st century British law. So can someone please explain to me, when I question if it is right for a muslim man to reserve the right to rape his wife and beat her, subjectively force her to keep her body hidden from sight, why would any sane individual have a problem with this? Through out history there has been numerous events where by politicians of majority muslim countries have been murdered because they try to implement equal rights for women etc, the cold war is only one example (please do not ignorantly assume that 9/11 was the start of this). The only reason I can fathom as to why seemingly decent people would oppose questioning of Islam, is because they are working towards Islam ultimate goal, which is Islamic rule over the world (if you doubt this, read the quran). No one muslims actions relate to the quran more so than that of the extremists. The amount of scripture that is relevant to actions of Jihadist muslims is unparalleled throughout Islam. So why are we so tolerant towards them? Do we have to be? Can we afford to be? The government of this country has their hands tied when it comes to this issue. It is the people like you and me that need to raise awareness on this issue. If you choose not to look into it, thats your choice, but I faithfully promise you lack of action now will result in our children facing far bigger problems from Islam than we do. If you do nothing else, read the quran and pay particular attention to teachings regarding women and non believers, these values are ever more establishing themselves in our society and are hindering our own laws.
