Are you bombarding customers with ads that use cliches and exaggerated platitudes stated as though they were original or significant. These are words and phrases like: highest quality, biggest selection, largest inventory, best service, been in business since 1776, family owned, gets the job done right the first time, fast, residential and commercial, free estimates, locally owned and operated, #1 in satisfaction, 1 Call Does it All, why pay more, lowest prices, we care, conveniently located, professional, experienced, affordable, board certified, accredited, we’re different, advanced techniques, dependable, call today! (Breathe!!) If you say anything in your ads that your prospects can say Well, I would hope so! Give yourself an F. We dont mean to hurt your feelings; but if youre unhappy with your advertising response do us a favor and stop blaming the media. Take responsibility for your ads and admit that they look and sound like every other ad in the world.
