Are you interested in alternative investment? Consider Prime Rice Farmlands! How does it work? Sierra Leone has been identified by some of the world’s leading investors as one of Africa’s brightest opportunities. George Soros, the billionaire financier, said yesterday that his development fund would invest an additional $5 million (£3 million) in the country. CDC, the British Government’s £2.7 billion investment fund, also announced a $5 million injection into the country yesterday. It will invest the money with ManoCap, a Sierra Leone-based investment fund that is chaired by Lord Stevenson of Coddenham, the former chairman of HBOS. We have negotiated the purchase of 3,000 acres of prime rice farming land in Sierra Leone, West Africa on a 49 year lease on behalf of our clients Investment. As our investor, you will own the title deed to a physical, tangible asset with a solid underlying base. We have a productive working farm and are ploughing up to 2,000 acres this year as we speak; the farm is now being managed by the Vietnamese consultancy GMX under the supervision of Dr Vo Tong Xuan, who is one of the world experts in rice cultivation. Tests on our new hybrids have produced yields of 3.6 tons per acre which equates to 2.34 tons of finished rice, and we are currently working on 2 harvests a year. The growth in demand for food, spurred by the rising middle classes in China, India and other emerging markets, shows no signs of abating. Though currently underdeveloped, Sierra Leone is ideal for rice production. The cost of investment is £2250 per acre plus a £600 one-off set-up fee for each acre – this means it requires the investment of approx. £11250 per 5 acres (includes a £600 one-off cultivation fee, per acre). Invest with us today, and build a better tomorrow!
