Are you looking for the perfect family and children horse? Then Þyrla is the right horse for you. The 10 year old mare with the beautiful colour silver dapple pinto is just 100% bomb-proof. You can ride her without saddle, stand on her back, or crawl through her legs - she stands like a statue, totally safe, relaxed and intrepid. In a group of others or alone, no problems at all. But Þyrla is not only a very reliable and steady horse, she also has a lot of tölt with good movements which is easy to ride. Þyrla is 4-gaited. She currently is in foal by Leynir frá Höfða, a beautiful buckskin stallion with white socks, big blaze and blue eyes. Þyrla already had 2 foals in 2009 and 2011, one from Klerkur frá Bjarnanesi (Snælda, silver dapple pinto with blaze) and one from Skjanni frá Nýjabæ (Gæi, splashed white silver dapple). Þyrlas father is Glampi frá Langárfossi, who now is in France. He has no excema. Her mother is Bylgja frá Aðalbreið, a daughter of Kvasír frá Hvammstanga (F: Gustur frá Sauðárkróki). We recommend Þyrla as a great riding horse for the whole family. A perfect mare everybody feels safe on. She has a lot of easy tölt and a very friendly spirit.
