Are you missing a tan dog in #Keaau? A house in HPP has been abandoned for years due to foreclosure. Yesterday I noticed a dog kennel in the driveway and discovered a dog inside with no food or water in the hot sun standing in its own waste. I called the humane society. When I returned with food and water for the dog I heard people inside the abandoned house. They claimed they just moved in and the dog was loose in their yard so they caged it outside. It rained the night before and the dog had obviously been out in the rain as it was standing in a puddle of waste. Thank God the Humane Society came and picked up the poor dog. Dog is similar to the one pictured - medium size, tan, with blue collar.
