Are you still cracking the nut and breaking your head on realtime Movie promotion in Rural and Tehsil level? Thats a history :) We at NPST take pride in sharing the pioneering achievement in a span of just 6 months by our team of visionary service delivery architects. An IT enabled physical centers, web and mobile based technology developed to deliver services to citizens has been now used for Movie Promotion and ticket sales in the untouched locations for distributors. Through this platform we created a reach for an upcoming Marathi Movie Poster Boyz in Rural and Tehsil level population in Maharashtra which is an apt target audience for the promoters. We wish the Team of POSTER BOYZ a great success in this journey. Below is the Press Release on this achievement - In a first of its kind initiative across India, a Mumbai based start-up “Network People Services” has tied up with Spanco and Department of Technology (DIT), Government of Maharashtra to offer Movie Distribution and Marketing services across the entire chain of DIT controlled “Maha eSeva Kendras” Maha eSeva Kendra’s along with SETU and Sangram Kendras form the Physical backbone of Government Service delivery. There are more than 25,000 physical touch points across the length and breadth of the State distributed amongst these three Delivery outfits. Everyday more than 2 Lakh+ citizens walk into these Service delivery points and avail Government Services. Considering the footfall, several Business to Consumer Services (B2C) have been added to the portfolio in the last 2 years. Insurance, Banking, Utility Bill Payments, Mobile Recharges, Air, Rail and Bus bookings have all provided an excellent opportunity to our Village Level Entrepreneur (VLE) to capitalize on the footfall that comes in to avail G2C services. This has given our VLE a sustainable income and long term viability. While several new services are on the anvil, NPS which is a Master distributor of services to Spanco stuck upon this idea of using the Government’s Distribution network to market Marathi Movies. “Poshter Boyz”, Shreyas and Deepti Talpade’s second home production venture under his banner Affluence Movies Pvt. Ltd., starring the likes of Dilip Prabhavalkar, Hrishikesh Joshi, Aniket Vishwasrao, Pooja Sawant and Neha Joshi has become the first movie to utilize this largely semi urban and rural distribution network. This medium gives the Film an excellent reach and recall value. With more than 2 Lakh Citizens walking in every single day it provides an amazing opportunity to reach out to the desired audience. The movie is set to be released on 1st August 2014 and will utilize the Maha eSeva Kendra’s for the following activities: Display of Movie publicity material i.e. posters, standees, etc. Short Contests to Meet and Greet the stars Movie Ticket and Music CD Sales Merchandise Sales The service was today launched by Hon. Shri. Balasaheb Thorat, Revenue Minister, Government of Maharashtra in the presence of Hon. Shri. Rajesh Aggarwal, Principal Secretary, DIT, GoM. The entire cast of the movie along with Shreyas Talpade was present during the launch. Two VLE’s from Pune and Kolhapur were called at this occasion to narrate their experience offering this service to customers. Shri Thorat at this occasion mentioned “I am delighted to note the starting of new Business services which can ride upon our established Citizens Services network. Our focus has been to simplify services for the citizens. Maharashtra has always been and will be a pioneer in improving reach and simplifying services delivery”. Shri Aggarwal also mentioned ”CSC’s form a fundamental backbone for Government services delivery and we believe that this network has a strong semi urban and rural reach and can be tapped for providing various B2C services”. Speaking on the initiative Shreyas Talpade said “This is a revolutionary concept in Marketing and Distribution. This without doubt is a very novel initiative that will not just provide film producers a very cost effective medium to reach a very large targeted clientele but will also go a long way in propagating Marathi Cinema.” Kaustubh Dhavse, CEO, NPS, narrated his experience by stating “We are happy to have been part of this initiative. We have both the digital and physical infrastructure to take services to remote locations across the country.” The movie is scheduled to release on 1st August 2014. Till this time all services related to this movie will be available at Maha eSeva Kendra’s.
