Are you the type that needs to see to believe? We saw a few days - TopicsExpress

Are you the type that needs to see to believe? We saw a few days ago that Zechariah did not trust the angel of God and He was left speechless. We see today that he now believes, and blesses God. As you may, or may not know, I have had many conversations with people that want proof of Gods existence. They want to see the miracles, and deny Gods existence because of the evil that they see, every day. So many times we are blind to the miracles that are all around us, because we are more focused on the bad that is around us. Are you looking for the good, or are you looking for the bad? Zechariah had prayed for so long for a child, and his prayers werent answered, so He stopped believing that his prayers would be answered, and stopped believing. This is the time of year to believe that there is more to this life than the world we choose to see. Even if you dont see the miracles, it doesnt mean that they do not happen. Will you choose to see the good things that are happening, or do you choose to see the bad? This is the season of miracles. My God, and my Savior, May I see the world with Your loving eyes, and know Your miracles. Luke 1:57-66 When the time arrived for Elizabeth to have her child she gave birth to a son. Her neighbors and relatives heard that the Lord had shown his great mercy toward her, and they rejoiced with her. When they came on the eighth day to circumcise the child, they were going to call him Zechariah after his father, but his mother said in reply, “No. He will be called John.” But they answered her, “There is no one among your relatives who has this name.” So they made signs, asking his father what he wished him to be called. He asked for a tablet and wrote, “John is his name,” and all were amazed. Immediately his mouth was opened, his tongue freed, and he spoke blessing God. Then fear came upon all their neighbors, and all these matters were discussed throughout the hill country of Judea. All who heard these things took them to heart, saying, “What, then, will this child be? For surely the hand of the Lord was with him.”
