Arif Mirabdolbaghi has apparently left Protest The Hero. This is a sad day for me because Arif was one of the inspirations behind me adapting my bass technique to a more technical style. His playing influenced me on how to incorporate tapping, slapping and other techniques into multiple genres which led to me discovering and becoming influenced by the greats like Evan brewer, mark Michell, Victor Wooten and others. I hope to see the guy thrive in something new and I will still follow his musical path because he will always be a part of something great. As much as I love Protest The Hero, this is gonna be a hard pill for me to swallow. Good luck, Arif.
