Arm-chair Chutiyas dilemma (ACC) post the budget : I have been a German fan since 1986, which was the first year when I started following International football. It was West Germany then, and politically a different nation. Their culture represents everything that I am not, but so so so want to be. Thats precisely why I support them, though I am not much of a fan of Adolf dadu or of Bismarck boro dadu. In 86 I did not want Argentina to win, but Maradona to be the highest scorer. If I remember correctly, that award went to the English great Gary Linekar. 6, i think was his final tally (Linekars as against Diegos 5). Just like I didnt really care if India won or lost as long as Sachin got his ton. I have always been a great admirer of individual brilliance. At the Marcana I do want the German lads to lift the cup (my traditional approach) but somewhere deep down, I want Messi to score stupendously, win it for his country and claim his rightful place beside Pele, Diego and that great head-butter Zinedane Zidane. I dont really care for Argentinas win, but for Messis tryst with destiny. For that to happen, an Argentine victory is imperative. Hence, this dilemma.
