Armenian Progressive Youth is looking for 2 participants: What? Training Course “The key word gender” When? 22 March - 30 March 2014 Where? Struga, Macedonia Number of participants: 2 The 7 - day training course “The Key Word Gender” will explore the world of gender from different perspectives with special focus on gender stereotyping and discrimination. For 30 participants coming from 15 countries (Armenia, Ukraine, Georgia, Serbia, Albania, Kosovo, Romania, France, Turkey, Bulgaria, Poland, Italy, Hungary, Lithuania and hosting country Macedonia) the training course will be an opportunity to discover more about gender realities in the involved countries as well as to take closer look at the success practices dealing with gender in project planning and implementation of various local and international projects. The training course will be a chance to increase gender competencies of youth workers, leaders and project managers in terms of gender and their abilities to reflect on the gender roles in the society which is significantly important for developing gender sensitive approach in the youth work and ensuring sustainable development of the participant’s communities. Costs: 70% of travel costs, 100% of food and accommodation are covered.
