They said that troops of 8 Rashtriya Rifles and Kishtwar police carried out a joint search operation in Maalghote forest area under the jurisdiction of Kishtwar police station this morning after developing specific inputs about a dump of arms, ammunition and explosives lying in the area. They conducted searches in the forests for several hours before coming across the natural hideout of the militants and making the recoveries.
