Army Sgt. Delbert D. Kovalcheck of East Millsboro in Luzerne Township was just 19 when declared missing in action in Korea in 1950. Sixty-four years later, the Department of Defense Prisoner of War/Missing Personnel Office identified Kovalcheck’s remains and the Fayette County man was buried this summer with full military honors at Arlington National Cemetery near Washington, D.C. “I never thought they would be trying to identify our boys after this long,’’ said Kovalcheck’s cousin Patricia Gable, 71, of Colleyville, Texas. “They have not given up on finding out who these guys are and that’s the best thing.’’ Follow link for full story: goo.gl/3fyqGi
