Army welcomes touring farmers Mansbal, Oct 21: Army Monday welcomed the Ganderbal framers who returned from their 10 days Jammu-Chandigarh and Lukhnow tour. A function was organized by 13 RR in North Kashmir’s Mansbal area. According to an Army official during the tour the farmers were made aware of the development in the other states and how they can use the same ideas to transform their agriculture needs for better productivity. The touring farmers were also shown other historical value sites to broaden their knowledge base. Commanding Officer 13 RR urged upon the farmersshould not keep the knowledge which they have gained from the tour to themselves but spread it as far as they can in their area. The attendees were important personalities of the area, parents and teachers of students, Sarpanch and Panches of the nearby villages from where the farmers belonged.
