Arnold Reece Disney, age 76 of Lake City, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2015 at his residence. He was born on July 7, 1938 in Lake City to the late George Washington and Alice Richardson Disney. Arnold was a U.S. Army veteran and member of the Coal Creek Lodge #492 F&AM. He retired from Kentucky Central Insurance Company as an insurance salesman and was of the Baptist faith. Arnold enjoyed hunting, telling tales, and spending time with family and friends especially his grandsons. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by brothers; Clyde and James Disney, sisters; Edna Mae Hatmaker and Vanda Lee Disney, mother-in-law; Neva Brown. Survivors: Wife of 52 years Betty Lou Dabney Disney, Lake City. Sons Rickey Disney and wife, Michele, Lake City; Mike Disney and wife Donna, Jacksboro; Grandsons Jacob Disney and wife Lindsey, Knoxville; Chase Disney, Jacksboro; Sister Norma Jean Webb, Lake City; Sister-in-laws Margie Daniels, Lake City; Roma Disney, Clinton; Mary Disney, Norris; Special aunt and caregiver Della “Bo” Chapman, Lake City; Special friends Cotton and Patty Nighbert, Caryville; Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Clinch River Home Health and Doctors and nurses from Tennova Hospice for their loving care and kindness to the family. Visitation: 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Monday, January 19, 2015 at Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City, Tennessee. Masonic Service at 2:00 P.M. by the Coal Creek Lodge #492 F&AM and Funeral Service at 2:15 PM, Monday, January 19, 2015 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Jones and Special Friend Cotton Nighbert officiating. Interment: To Follow Funeral Service at Leach Cemetery in Lake City with military honors by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
