LAST CHANCE TO SEE these eye catching, colourful photographs by Carcazan and Jan Doerfel currently showing at The Brick Lane Gallery- The Annexe until 6pm today! The concept behind Carcazan’s photography is to seek to extract the art or aesthetic from the quotidian by highlighting a particular colour or perspective, as a nod to an artistic moment which could otherwise be lost if one failed to drop the shutter in one’s mind on it. The concept behind this is that the daily grind can be awash with hidden art treasures waiting to be noticed if one looks close enough or change the way you look at the same old thing seeing it in a new light. This is their debut exhibition realising a dream. Jan Doerfel has always had a passion for photography since he was a youngster and, after a break, has taken it up again. In his photos he has always wanted to convey the impact of an image as felt by the viewer, especially of the wonders of nature big or small.
