Around the time Shonen Knife did their 1st Australian tour - this little gem came out. The last line was Its a New Find, Its a Gnu!!. They made many new finds on that tour... Strange and funny animals were exciting. They flew from Australia, to Japan, and then on to L.A. Straightaway - a very long air travel for them. I had lunch with them at a Japanese restaurant near the famous Troubadour club in West L A. & we were laughing about their encounters with the animals down under! So, they each drew pictures for me on a yellow legal pad, of how the animals looked to them. That treasure is framed & on the wall of my home studio. Michie was particularly excited about a kangaroo laying on his side, with his head propped up on his paw. She laughed: We went behind of him, and he did not move!!. A new find, indeed.
