Arrived at the Lily about 9:30 p.m. after a long afternoon of work at APV in Midland. Unloaded a few items and fed the stray downtown kitty and her kittens when the nicest man, whom I know to be a local business owner, but had never met, drives up. After brief introductions he bought two of my paintings, and will be enrolling his daughters in art classes. Dear Lord, you always make me smile at how you can turn an ordinary thing into an extraordinary thing!! I told my new friend that I certainly have never sold art at 9:45p.m. before! I have more money for stray cats food now! :-)
