Arrived home last night and back to facing reality today.. Iceland is probably the most magical country Ive ever been to. I loved absolutely everything about it ranging from: the culture, the people, fresh air, water, the Midnight sun, the wildlife (especially the humpback whales I had seen in the North & almost being attacked by an artic tern at the Grotta lighthouse haha!), stunning mountains & being surrounded by lava rock everywhere, the blue lagoon, the liveliness of Reykjavik & the peacefulness of Akereyri. I would definitely venture back at some point in the near future.. The whole experience felt very surreal & the precious memories are there for life. I cannot thank my friends over there enough for their hospitality and showing Helen & I how to experience the real Iceland. Its been a fun filled pack week and it wouldnt have been the same experience without you all.
