Barrowman posted a video of him taking the challenge on 16 August, sitting on a deck chair wearing a Deathstroke t-shirt in Vancouver, getting his jock strap clad husband Scott Gill to dumb a bucket full of ice and water over him – though it took two attempts to empty the bucket. Barrowman then challenged Arrow co-star Colton Haynes, Supernaturals Misha Collins and Doctor Whos David Tennant to take the challenge. Haynes pretended he was backing out of the challenge in a video posted 17 August with fellow Arrow star Emily Bett Rickards, offering to pay a forfeit, before getting a bucket of ice water dumped on them by Barrowman and Gill. Haynes and Rickards then challenged the combined casts of TV shows The Flash, Gotham, Marvels Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The Goldbergs and Teen Wolf to take the challenge.
