Arsenal have been responding to fans’ concerns about their lack of signings by sending out letters to reassure them that new players are on the way. Arsene Wenger has only brought in one player so far - young French striker Yaya Sanogo on a free transfer - and several near misses have been well documented. But as fears grow over their hopes for the season following their opening day defeat by Aston Villa it has emerged that the club have personally responding to each discontented fan with a letter.
