Art Chain Day (ahem) 4 (but sort of 3)..... Forbidden Planet got in the way of yesterdays post but here it is now. Some mosaic. The first is the Mayan glyph for Palenque, a city name, one of a (long planned never completed) set of many mosaics based on Mayan glyphs just because I love their design. The colours are inspired by an ancient mask and two headed dragon mosaic from South American that I saw at the British Museum. The other two are just fish. One with home glazed tiles and the last with magical vitreous glass tiles with copper powder inside. Ive made quite a lot of fish!
