“Art Utsav 2014” at Mirage Art Gallery -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- All the art enthusiasts across the city got back into the art-loving mode as Kolkatas most popular and much-awaited Art Exhibition “ART UTSAV’ 2014” was launched today by Mirage Art Gallery, one of the most vibrant and novel art galleries in town. This event was organized as an elite art exhibition to bring together the people belonging to different communities on a common platform to see the work and interact with the elite artists of Kolkata. “ART UTSAV’ 2014” was inaugurated by AGNIMITRA PAUL, International Fashion Designer and was graced by the presence of MRS. SHEILA KAPOOR, KMC Councilor; MR. PAWAN K. RUIA, Chairman, Ruia Group; MR. WASIM R. KAPOOR, Artist; MR. RABIN MONDAL, Senior Artist; MR. DHIRAJ CHOWDHURY, Senior Artist and many other eminent artists of the City of Joy, Kolkata. The exhibition will continue till 21st December, 2014 from 12 noon to 7 pm (except Monday). Unlike other exhibitions, this Art Utsav would showcase Collages, Sculptures, Artefacts, Handmade Gift Items & much more also along with Paintings. It was group exhibition and eminent artists like Aditya Basak, Amitabh Sengupta, Atin Basak, Debabrata Chakrabarti, Manoj Dutta, Monoj Mitra, Pradip Maitra, Partha Bhattcharjee, Partha Pratim Deb, Rabin Mondal, Samir Aich, Sekhar Roy, Subrata Gangopadhyay, Wasim R Kapoor, and more than 100 other artists showcased around 450 artworks of different mediums of arts i.e., paper collage, water colour, acrylic on canvas, mixed media on board, acrylic on wood, pastel colour on paper, pen & ink on paper, tempera on board, etc.
