Art on the Street is Guelph’s largest art exhibition and sale, attracting nearly 100 exhibitors and thousands of attendees to Quebec Street in downtown Guelph. Now in it’s 11th year, this event is filled with colour, creativity, and performance and we’d love for you to be a part of it ! We would be grateful if you could pass this on to anyone you think might be interested in this excellent and fun opportunity. VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS Please read the following information and respond with your preferred volunteer shift/s and any questions you may have. SHIFT 1, 8am – 11am (3 hours, minimum 16yrs old) Tasks: Blow up balloons and decorate Quebec Street, hand out promotional literature at the Guelph Farmer’s Market and the event, assisting artists (i.e booth sitting for washroom breaks), handing out and collecting ballots, directing attendees to washrooms, water truck etc. SHIFT 2, 11am – 2pm (3 hours, minimum 16yrs old) Tasks: Handing out promotional materials at the event, assisting artists (i.e booth sitting for washroom breaks), handing out and collecting ballots, directing attendees to washrooms, water truck etc. SHIFT 3, 2pm – 5pm (3 hours, minimum 16yrs old) Tasks: same as SHIFT 2.
