Arthur Wayne McCallister, 67, of Winfield, passed away Thursday, Oct. 16, 2014 after a long illness. He was a retired Pipe Fitter Local 625, US Army veteran, Mason. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, target shooting and reloading and horseback riding. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Jean McCallister, and son, Brian T. McCallister. Surviving are his daughters, Roxanne Justice of Winfield and Bonnie Jean Blevins of Kentucky; companion, Deborah Chapman of Winfield, and her children, Brad and (Jessie) Chapman and K.C. and (Missy) Chapman; his grandchildren, whom he loved very much, Colton James Justice, Brooke Blevins-Hoffman, Landon Chapman, Paisley Marie Chapman and Cole Chapman; brothers, Berry McCallister of Texas and Dale McCallister of Sissonville; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, at Allen Funeral Home, 2837 Main St., Hurricane. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
