Article in the Church Times says that Church Councils are curators of buildings and the treasures inside them. What happened to "Do not store up treasures on earth where moth and rust corrupt and thieves break in and steal..."? Or is that one of those those verses that the Lectionary omits from the readings? Perhaps I should have studied art history and building maintenance rather than theology and mission.....?
