Article published in the Zululand Observer dated 20/11/12 - Richards Bay youngster, Ransley Rampersadh who was struck by a taxi in an accident last Monday, underwent surgery to his leg on Thursday and is still in the Intensive Care Unit. According to his parents, the 10 year-old’s operation was successful but he still has swelling on the brain and is under sedation. The Thuthukani School pupil was hit as he hurried across the road after he exited his school bus near the the stop in Via Fibrosa Street in Brackenham. His father, Rajesh said Ransley is not expected to undergo any more procedures and all they can do is wait while he recovers. Prayers and ‘get well’ wishes have poured in for the young boy.
