Arts in Health 3rd General Body Meeting Date: Monday, March 10, 2014 Time: 7:30 P.M. Location: MUB 144 Arts in Health at UF is a student organization dedicated to integrating the arts and physical, emotional and spiritual health. We support the Arts in Healthcare through local community projects and several annual events, as well as participate in a variety of service learning opportunities, from the Florida Panhandle to Rwanda, Africa, the use the arts to support and improve quality of life and well-being. We often work with the Center for Arts in Medicine and Shands Arts in Medicine, giving members the opportunity to volunteer in an arts-in-health environment in either the clinical and/or community health setting. Come out and learn about our organization and how you can get involved! We will be having a painting social after our brief meeting. These paintings will be donated to our Inch by Inch charity event to support the arts in medicine program in the Congo!
