As - Salaam - Alaikum; Thank you all who read and consider my posts. Often I get a comment to a post that really impacts me as the Spirit of ALLAH coming through the words of a Believer. In my last post inspired from my Quranic readings during this Ramadan where ALLAH warns us against annoying the Prophet and the Believers, I received a comment I thought was worthy of reposting. Thank you Yon Muhammad: Yon Muhammad: What I think is being said here is when a people have been properly taught they can not use the excuse of ignorance. When they say they have embraced the Message of Allah and have dedicated their lives to it they can not say they did not know. I think what gives annoyance to a Messenger of Allah is when we make excuses for doing what we subscribed ourselves to do and also when we lag behind the Messenger of Allah. This lagging behind creates a gap between the Guide and the guidance. In Japanese the term for enlightenment means to close the gap. When we lag behind the Messenger of Allah we create a gap which allows the en-lightenment I.e. the wisdom and knowledge and spirit of Allah to diminish. Because of their Love for Allah the Messengers and Servants of Allah become annoyed when we procrastinate when there is no need to if we truly believe that He Allah is our source of life. If we know better we should be doing our best at all times so as not to earn the chastisement of Allah through His Messengers. Ramadan Mubarak to ALL!
