As 2014 draws to an end and 2015 beckons, i look back over the 50 years of my life. Somehow i remember the sadness in my life more than the happiness. More than what anybody did or did not do, i remember the numerous times i betrayed myself by choosing the lesser than the greater because i was swayed by temporal pleasures and gratification. As a result i have come to understand that our greatest enemy is not without, but within. It is not somebody else. It is ourselves. The very fact that i have realised this to be true, albeit so late in life, is proof that all is not lost. It is proof that conviction is alive and real love abounds because, only Gods Holy Spirit convicts, and He convicts those whom He loves. Perhaps thats my i am sharing this insight with all who might care to read it on Facebook. You are indeed loved and precious in Gods heart. Move forward into the new year with conviction to command the glory that was won for you on the cross and the resurrection, and therefore deservedly yours. Deny the evil one his pleasure.
