As 2014 is coming to a close, we are happy to share some wonderful moments from the inauguration of SANAs Integrated Solar Powered Drinking Water Stations cum Bio-Toilets in Boduvalsa & Devarapalli Villages in the Visakhapatnam District on 18th of December 2014 by Mr.Justice K.G Balakrishnan, Chairperson, National Human Rights Commission of India & Former Chief Justice, Supreme Court of India. This is part of SANAs Toilets & Taps- Transforming Lives Through Technology initiative. We have called it SANA Surya Sujala Dhara & Haritha Bio-Toilets. 3.6 million liters of WHO standard drinking water will be produced annually and 40 community bio-toilets are in place exclusively for women & children. It was a heart-warming and fulfilling experience for all of us at SANA .
