As Christmas approaches, we are thankful for the time we have together and the love and support that all of you have sent our way. Thanks to the generosity of so many people, we are going on Jims dream cruise vacation on January 10th. This trip means so much to us and we are so grateful for the outpouring of love. We have had some tough news but we are optimistic that Jim will have the strength to keep a positive attitude and keep fighting the cancer cooties. The cancer markers have spiked once again and his Petscan shows an increase in disease. He has exhausted most traditional chemo at this point. Luckily there is a newer drug that has been approved since his diagnosis. It is an oral pill that can be taken at home. The good news is that he wont have to sit in that damn chemo chair for now. Emotionally that is a huge bonus. The oncologist is optimistic that we can get the markers down again. Remember, make the most of each day. Gratitude is what is getting us through. Kiss you kids, tell people how much they mean to you, be kind, and share the joy of the holiday season. Peace, love and joy to you and yours!
