As I always do when I have leftover bakery goodies, I give them to the crows, who now gather round my truck when I pull in. I had this one nice fat cheddar bagel, which I lobbed three-pointer style out my service window ... just as one of my neighbors came driving down the street in his Subaru Outback, which scored a direct hit -- passenger side front door. He hit his brakes, backed up and rolled his window down. I said; I hope you dont think I was aiming for you! I always give my leftovers to the crows, and I just didnt see you coming! He smiled, and just said; It was a nice shot. Im one lucky guy. Hes one of the guys who picks up my garbage every week, and he could snap me like a stale Ritz cracker.
