As I always say, Those who can, do. Those who cant, review!. Bizarro, ill-considered #NYTimes article. Neil Genzlinger actually writes re: I Love Lucy, ...today the broad humor draws only the occasional chuckle. ?!!! Maybe at his house! And he writes that The Honeymooners suffers from the same problem (!). (Its funny cause I was just having a chat with someone that TV these days is sorely-missing shows with broad humor, slapstick, etc.) BUT he also writes in his bio, I’m far less interested in being the zillionth critic to proclaim the glories of Mad Men than I am in being the one who gets a few more people to give the A&E reality show Duck Dynasty a try. Especially on the reality-TV side of the spectrum, I’m not even looking for really good; sometimes interesting is enough for me. So, there ya go...and as my Grandmother used to say, Consider the source!
