As I am getting ready to go running today, I thought about the - TopicsExpress

As I am getting ready to go running today, I thought about the blessings in my life. So before I go into workout mode, I will pause and begin the grateful challenge that Nicole Whipmyhair Cottles Adams volunteered my tag in. 1) I am thankful for this ministry of fitness. I was introduced to this late. Funny thing is when you are young, you always think you will have time to be physically fit. But as you get older, it comes to you that without it you are not complete, like spiritual and intellectual health. I always tell this story but it was such a catalyst to why Im driven in investing in my health: I was dancing and I met a radiant and youthful woman. She had so much energy and had an etherial glow about her. In conversation she told me her age and I was shocked when she told me she was as old as she was. I asked her the secret to being so youthful and she said, Keep Moving. 2) The kindred spirits who partake in fitness. From Lenda Murray, Urel Timothy McGill, and all the Fit by God members at Faithful Central Bible Church in Inglewood, CA to Linda Simms and all the members of Lets Mess it Up Soul Line Dancing in New Orleans. And all those who have motivated me along the way Carol TheTrainer Flowers, Estelle Hunter, Aisha Champagne) that this ministry is like all ministries: you will get what you put into it and that no one can do anything without help. 3) I do not know everything and I am so proud of that fact. I love learning and I love that there is knowledge in the simple as well as the complex, so I am thankful for wisdom and the wanting to learn more. Proverbs 19:20 states it best: Listen to advice and accept instruction, and in the end you will be wise. So thank you to those who have advised me over the years. This challenge is not just for me, it is for thee. Name 3 things a day for 7 straight days ( NO ice and ice bucket required} So I will challenge all who were mentioned as well as Tommy Thompson, Natasha McNally, Derek D. Bardell, Joy Parris, and fellow Mustangs Will Thompson, Clarence D. Robinson Jr., and Dana Turner. Have a prosperous day.
