As I approach 2015 I do it with so much uncertainty in so many areas. It holds so much potential yet many hurdles to leap over. I have 7 more radiation treatments to complete the treatment plan, if it isnt revised and more treatments added. Then the decision on whether to keep shaving my head or let it grow, if it will grow back. When I look at the future ahead of me, I often think of and desire to have it all culminate and be standing in front of Jesus. I know that to some people that sounds like Ive given up, but that is not the case. I feel stronger than I expected to feel through this entire journey battling this disease. I just feel so much closer to God that I want to see Him, I mean actually see Him. Oh I see Him in the many wonders of this world He created, and I see Him in the way He works in individuals lives. I believe His word completely, even the things I read I dont like, usually because I need to make changes that I really dont want to but need to. But with all the things going on in this world, sickness, evil, murders, thieves, unkindness, hatred at all time highs, I just really want to see God, and Jesus. To be able to walk on streets of gold with no chuck holes, walk through gates of pearl with no rusty hinges, sit by the river of life with no polluted waters, eat at the table spread for His children at the marriage supper of the Lamb, with perfect pie crust and everything cooked to perfection. So yeah 2015 is upon us and well continue on with the journey that is set before me. Ill approach it with a positive attitude and lean on the Healer to carry me through it when I weaken. I will beat this!! Whatever the year or years hold for me I will trust Him to guide me and keep my eyes on the path in front, not looking to what has been left behind.
