As I begin year 20, I reflect on the teachers I most valued. I DO try to emulate them...My mom was a tough and loving Kinder teacher who was one of the first to tell me that children crave structure. My 4th grade teacher was another stern one but also had a soft spot for "Baby Humrichouse." Evelyn Ireton set the "barre" high and turned silly teen girls into dancers by making us work hard. Pamela Oldt Rameau was known as "Rambo" and she fit the bill, too. I think I finally learned to write in her Jr. Eng. class!!:) I respect these ladies so much and I KNOW that if I could be in the room with any of them right now, I would still want to be at the top of my game! To all my former students and parents, it is my hope to be that ONE you remember as the ONE who believed in you and pushed you! ♥ Night Night!
