As I had mentioned a few days earlier, although we are now living under a democracy, it is business as usual with the same old crooks but this time in suits. I note with great sadness that another Fiji citizen was picked up by military thugs and tortured on 27 September 2014. The person who was tortured was a senior citnzen, a 60 year old man who had a falling out with Voreqe. Be under no false illusions that we are living in normal times. Just because we have had elections and transited to democracy does not mean that the torture, beatings and thuggery will come to an abrupt end. These cowards have been torturing our citizens for years and will continue to do so as long as the old guard are in charge and in total control of the nation. What are the local media doing about this incident?
