As I have been seeking God regarding my unanswered prayers He is taking me down a very new path. I grew up spiritually under some very big spiritual giants regarding faith. You can realize how shocked I when God started revealing to me that I wasn’t praying in faith. I had been standing on faith with but I wasn’t standing in faith because I was identifying the source of the problem. God has revealed to me that I need to identify the source of the problem, and then standing in faith on the scripture addressing the source of the problem will then take care of the problem. An example may ne illness that is attacking your body. You stand on healing scriptures but you don’t receive your healing. It might be that the source of your illness is something you’re eating. Say you are feeling your heart racing and fluttering in your chest. You start claiming healing scriptures and the symptoms are getting worse, because you are staying up late praying. The next morning you get up tired and grab a big cup of coffee. By mid-morning your heart rate goes through the roof. You find yourself in the emergency room asking God why He isn’t healing your heart. You wind up spending a large amount of money and go through a great deal of testing to have the doctor tell you that you are drinking too much caffeine and you need to give up coffee or switch to decaffeinated coffee. Let’s go back and see how we should have prayed. Bring your need before God. Ask Him to give you wisdom regarding the cause and the scripture that will correct it, then go back with wisdom and pray standing in faith on the true cause, which was too much caffeine. Now you can pray for strength to break the caffeine addiction in your life. I am beginning an in-depth study on Wisdom s that I can learn to identify the root causes related to the issues in my life. We need to learn how to do this so we can then take it into the world and assist in finding solutions to problems the earthly system can’t see. So let’s get started. Prov.4 chapter is heavy with the Wisdom of God so let’s start there. Prov.4:4 says “Take my words to heart. Follow my commands, and you will live.” NLT This verse is telling us that we read God’s word until it goes from our earthly brain into our spiritual heart. It also says that if you act on this command then you will live. Deut. 30:19 “Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live!” NLT It is your chose. The first step to getting wisdom is to read your bible. The next step is to get God’s Word into your heart. Prov. 4:5 “Get wisdom; develop good judgment Don’t forget my words or turn away from them.” NLT Prov. 4:21 says” Don’t lose sight of them. Let them penetrate deep into your heart,” So how do we get from wisdom to the root? Good question. For me God is leading me to go back to Deut. 28:1” If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully keep all his commands that I am giving you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the world.” NLT God has already revealed to me that I can keep all of the commandments in the old testament if I follow the 2 commandments that God gave me in the new testament. Luke 10:25-28 “One day an expert in religious law stood up to test Jesus by asking him this question: “Teacher, what should I do to inherit eternal life?” Jesus replied, “What does the law of Moses say? How do you read it?” The man answered You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength, and all your mind.’ And, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. Right!” Jesus told him. “Do this and you will live!” NLT So now I have the wisdom to obey Him, now the Blessing with work in my life. He then drew me to Deut. 28:7” The Lord will conquer your enemies when they attack you. They will attack you from one direction, but they will scatter from you in seven!” For me this is the portion on Blessing that I need to stand on because I have been under financial attacks that have no earthly solutions, I do have a heavenly solution. It has been accompanied by multiple financial waves following the first initial blow. As I have been seeking wisdom God has revealed that the key for me is getting it deep in my heart that the battle is His. He will conquer my enemies. It is His battle I just need to keep reinforcing that fact by meditating on this scripture, because it is in my head, but not deep in my heart. Now every time the devil tells me I’m not going to win, I can call him a liar, and dismiss him because of the promise in this scripture. It has also brought back the original scripture that God gave me at the beginning of this attach, that I haven’t been diligent in holding on to. Prov. 6:31 “But if he is caught, he must pay back seven times what he stole, even if he has to sell everything in his house” NLT This is talking about a thief and states even if he is stealing because he was hungry doesn’t matter. If he stole he needs to pay back 7 times the amount that he stole. I will print these scriptures out and have them everywhere & with me always and. I will also calculate the exact amount of a 7 fold return. This will allow me to pull it out and keep it before my eyes at all times. As I have been writing this out I realize that it is also a covenant prayer process. Jesus is your attorney & He is filling a case based on thief for me before God. The scriptures are the covenant (contract) that I have come into agreement with God. When I stand on this contract. Jesus can enforce it with Satan. All I have to do is stand on my covenant now and let God enforce the rest. My solutions may not be the ones you need, but the process is the same. Seek wisdom regarding the root of the situation, find a scriptural promise that reveals God’s promise & solution, then feed on it until the roots are deep in your heart, then claim your covenant right in prayer. You will see results because you are praying in God’s will. 1 John 5:14-15 “And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him. And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for.” NLT The NKJV uses the word petition. Well we haven’t even scratched the surface, until next time; Shalom (nothing missing nothing broken)
