As I have said elsewhere ....I started on FB ...to talk with my daughter ...not knowing how it worked . I have reconnected with people I havent seen or heard from in 30 years , some I have remained in close contact with by email and some I have seen fairly often . Many are new names and faces .....and they have all added to a really good experience for me . I believe people are mostly good .....but have been amazed at how quick and willing the people we have interacted with ...have been ..to spread the love ...I enjoy a gentle wind up ...and sometimes go to far .....but the response has been amazing , great banter , good wit and honest people . I said earlier that I dont dig mean spirited or racism and I would kick those into touch ....and they have been disconnected ....its just not negotiable. I spent the past year blogging on Rugby 365 ...about 3000 to 4000 blogs , according to the stats , not sure over what period , 99 % men , it gets very heated .......and the Ed gave me a few FINAL WARNINGS for THE BAN ...and some stuff he censored , but South Africans I think are in general a passionate bunch , we can be quick to anger and just as quick to forgive .....its completely crazy ..on 365 I have been involved with some real heavy insults flying back and forth and have in nearly every case ended up big mates with the oke ...I have been cloned several times ...I started off as Mark , then got cloned , then Maverick.....because I think all great no 8s were Mavericks( I dont dig Tom Cruise ....never liked the oke ) , players like Bedford , Mexted , Zin Zan Brooke , Morne DuPlessis , Wynaand Claasens ...., my favourite type of players ...so the okes called me Mav ......and I got cloned ...so I changed to Dark Wing Duck , thinking , thats it no one will ......and I got cloned ...so I thought long and hard ...about 5 minutes ...and what would they not clone ...so came up with Chinese Proverb ...so they could just say , Howzit China ...and no one has cloned this yet lol...but man , I must be getting soft .....because I hardly blog on 365 anymore ...and as much as I enjoy a good rugby argument and hurling insults at and with the lads .......the cool people on this sight .....have won me over ......but that doesnt mean Im going to do the wimp thing !!!!!!!......so tread lightly ....you just never know ......lol
