As I lay here reflecting on all my worries- I feel foolish realizing that 1st off God has always provided for my family and will never fail us of our needs. Our tree may not be as big as others, the gifts may not as many and next year may be difficult for my kids to except with our financial funds looking different but we will have what is needed in our lives. Maybe not all our wants but our needs will b met. I thank God for our jobs and the common sense he gives us to use that money wisely to better our girls. This holiday season I chose to give him praise and glory for all he has done & will continue to do for us- definitely not because we deserve any of it but because he still blesses us through our many faults and shortcomings. I hope I have taught my kids that giving is far more meaningful than receiving and that u should put others before yourself! I pray my kids are truly thankful for every gift and will never have any thoughts about what they didnt get - only thankful hearts about what they did recieve. Thats what Jesus represents - celebrate Christmas with him on ur mind and u will have less worries and more joy no matter what obstacles come in life.
