As I lay here trying to sleep but too anxious about what is to come in the morning I cant help but think of how mom was just one of the girls when we were in school. Most know that mom ended up taking a bad turn in life which changed the person we all knew and loved so much but till then there was never another like her. She was the mother than planned Halloween parties, pool parties graduation parties birthday parties or just anything to celebrate and she was right there with us having just as much fun as the rest of us. She was the one we all went when we needed to talk or when my friends were having problems at home they came to her. I remember being out to eat with the gang and a lady came up to mom and asked her do you know how lucky you are that these girls even want you here with them, she went on to say she would have given anything if she could get along her kids and their friends like that! Made me so proud! We loved her being with us. She would take us to the beach and of course Disney World about anytime I asked. She loved her girls and they loved her. How I miss those days! Some people you never forget and she surely is on of those. She was called the gold lady in Food City and when she would walk in they would all start yelling hello to her. She always was fixed up beautifully and wore bunch of gold which was the thing then. She was noticed anywhere she would go by her outgoing personality! She was everything to use before she made some bad choices. She is a walking dictionary and walking encyclopedia , still to this day. You can ask her anything! Well we just have to hope and pray for a good outcome for such a special mother friend sister daughter aunt and grandmother. We all love you so much!❤ Thanks for being our rock! Leslie A.
