As I mentioned, in my earlier post, today is the festa of Santa (Saint) Sophia and the festa of Santa Maria del Rosario. Here is a video from the piazza. Santa Sophia was brought down from one church & Santa Maria del Rosario was brought down from the other church (behind me in the piazza). They proceeded down to the center of the piazza while the band was playing & Fr. Don Marco began preaching. All of the card playing stopped & everyone was silent and all stood up. The whole village is a part of the procession through the main streets of Pisciotta. We just love the traditions, here in Italy! Nothing compares! Im going to tag a few people that I know would appreciate the video.
