As I prepare for my NSTA presentations, I am reminded how the change in technology has affected this process. I remember carrying a slide projector (cast iron) on my lap on a plane. I would spend the night before rearranging the slides.This evolved to acetates and an overhead. Then computer and disk. Then it was flash drive and computer. As well, I carried lots of folders and there was plenty of printing. This time, Keynote on my iPad, as well as backup on my iPhone (using iCloud). I remember when Mark Koker made a presentation from his Palm device (I was so impressed). This time,I uploaded some of the documents to DropBox/and NSTA as well, I will provide flash drives (Nemo) to give out with everything you need to develop an Middle school engineering program in recirculating aquaculture. I am soooo looking forward to Boston.
