As I read in Acts chapter 13 this morning, prayed and reflected on things, I was thinking about the goodness of girlfriends. I received prayers and encouragement yesterday from my sweet girlfriends and I so grateful for them. God is so good to put friends in our midst who can comfort and strengthen us when we need them. Sweet friends who offer strength and hope and let us know we are not alone, but mostly also keep us accountable and reliant on our Lord. In Acts 13:43, it says that Paul and Barnabas "urged them to continue to rely on the grace of God." My close friends are faithful to urge me to do the same. The grace of God will always soften the hardest spots of life. I am grateful for dear ladies who urge me to rest in that grace. The Lord is so good to have brought these friends into my life! So this morning I am giving thanks for the besties in Chicago and LA, the two new sweet friends who God has stitched to me recently :), two longtime friends whose sons are close to mine, one who has walked through it all with me and is always there for me, and for the one who is humble, loving and kind in every circumstance and for many others. I give thanks to you beautiful ladies and the grace you extend me and for always encouraging to love, trust and rely on our Lord. You bless me so.
