As I reflect on the loss of many of the bulwarks of justice, peace, and freedom I am compelled to ask of our generation who will stand and carry the banner? Who will be a drum major for justice? Who is willing to risk if need be an indefinite date on Robben Island? Who will seek to eradicate the New Jim Crow? Who is the next Phenomenal Woman? I submit that in this day and age with what we face, there needs to be more than a few. In the words of the prophet Isaiah, I humbly reply Here I am Lord, send me. What say ye?
